INTRODUCTION

The Marketing Partnership?

One person – Les Morton. I started in this business many years ago by studying graphics at Portsmouth College of Art & Design, after which I worked locally in Worthing at an hydraulic equipment manufacturing company – eventually running the publicity department.

However, London beckoned and I spent the next three of years at IPC Magazines in London, working in the General Magazines Group Marketing Department. It was during this time I started a three year Business Studies degree, which was completed when I moved to Samuel & Pearce – a full-service advertising agency in Richmond, West London. It was whilst working here that I had the inkling to start my own agency, which I did in 1982.

Morton Stowe Advertising started business in Brighton and rapidly became the largest and most successful agency in the town, with clients such as Evans Halshaw (largest Vauxhall dealer in Sussex), Bevan Funnell (high quality reproduction furniture manufacturers), BASF (building products division), Aquaseal (building products), First Leisure Corporation (leisure industry conglomerate), Redland Roof Tiles (recruitment advertising), Gravity Randall Ladders (now Youngmans), WordPerfect (word processing software) and many more.

The experience gained over these years and the ongoing contacts within the industry means I can offer a totally professional service at competitive rates. In 1992 The Marketing Partnership was born and has gone from strength to strength since.
